Let's try this again now it it looks like the image links all work again: Storm Knight Starfighter -class Starship The Starfighter is a ship with a clear purpose, but it is difficult to categorize by conventional means. The 100-ton ship is designed to be the personal craft of a Storm Knight, but it has notably been described as a ship designed by Don Quixote. With heavy crystaliron armor and a silvery Reflec finish, the sleek arrow-shaped starship looks like a warcraft. A ridiculous quad turret armed with range-enhanced pulse lasers gives it significant punch, but despite a reinforced hull, it is only a 100-ton ship, and unlikely to survive long in battle. Carrying a full turret and targeting system the Starfighter is a true starship with a jump-2 drive, though it requires high capacity batteries to jump when the quad turret and 7g maneuver drive is operating. Still working on editing and adding material to The Beyond book. I need an equipment and vehicle section(s) too. So here is a line of G-Bikes. Or at least two representative models. I always liked the idea of g-bikes, though I can see some serious limitations in  actual use. So I included an ejection seat and a note about vacc suits being the proper riding attire. The upper end model with a built-in digital friend is essentially an autonomous vehicle with a rider hanging on and looking cool while he tells it want he wants to do. But his friends don't need to know that... This is also a test of my vehicle design template, which needs a bit of work, but should at least add things correctly now. I'm continuing to edit my compilation of these blog entries and of some things that didn't fit nicely into the subsector-by-subsector posts and I'm also working on a few new items. The T5SS mailing list seems to have suffered an accident when its server moved, so my appeal to try to get this version of The Beyond considered as a replacement for the current "In Review" mess is currently on hold.  Though I did find that the dot map from the Megatraveller supplement Solomani and Aslan actually matches my revisions pretty well, so there might be hope of appealing to some version of canon... Anyway, in the meantime, I've updated my Excel templates for starships, small craft, and space stations and used the later to build a TL 11 Highport. This is the last subsector of my version of The Beyond. I have compiled all of these posts into a document that runs about 60,000 words. It needs editing and the completion of some articles that didn't fit well within the subsector release format. My goal is to post that document as a PDF within a week or so, perhaps with some articles as previews prior to that.
